April 14th is Songkran, a Thai New Year! In honor of this holiday, we wanted to create a menu that is inspired by our recent trip home to Thailand. The progression of the meal resembles our experience when we got lost in neighborhoods and allowed food stalls to tempt us. We will start with a little sweet & savory snack --as you would find as early as six in the morning in markets. Then we progress into a beloved Thai green curry "kaeng kiew wan"--a favorite in my family. We end with tropical and local seasonal fruits wrapped in bags with bamboo sticks just like a Thai fruit stand. We will also have a couple of surprises along the way, not listed on the menu!
